About me
A warm welcome to you! My name is Tom Vau and I am the founder of Ski instructor Lech private teaching and private guiding. I am delighted that you are interested in finding out more about me and my projects. I share my passion for the mountains and snow sports with my guests from all over the world. I look forward to meeting you soon!
How it all began...
The beginning
Growing up in the mountains of Salzburger Land, I was already standing on the boards that mean the world of snow to me at the age of two and a half. In my youth, I competed in alpine ski racing for the fastest times through the jungle of flags with the future world and Olympic champions of the time. At the end of my university years, I moved to Lech am Arlberg to make my passion as an independent entrepreneur one of my main professions.
The here & now
A lot has happened and changed since then, in a positive way for me. Since 2008, I have been able to introduce my international clients in Lech/Zürs and the entire Arlberg region to the beauty of this unique mountain world. As a state-certified ski instructor and ski guide and as a UIMLA Mountain Leader, I will show you the most mysterious and beautiful spots of the Arlberg.
Skilehrer am Arlberg by Tom Vau includes a wide range of offers for snow sports enthusiasts in Lech/Zürs, Stuben, St. Anton and the rest of the Arlberg region. These offers are tailored to the needs and abilities of each individual. My goal at the end of our adventure together is always to have experienced a wonderful, eventful and safe day in the mountains.

It is a pleasure for me to live out my creativity, to be open to new things and to experiment. Especially in the areas of nature, sport and art/culture. To this end, I will be offering various events, happenings, trips and much more to my customers and interested people in the future. At the end of the day, there is always the joy of experiencing beautiful moments together.
